following up to "sprung/its" (bpc176) and without any delays, here is the second single off of ellen allien´s successfull album "sool" (bpc175). with catalogue number bpc178 we present the long awaited remixes for "out".
nobody else than bpitch newcomer thomas muller and texas-born matthew dear aka audion are responsible for the remix duties on this one.
a1: out
in well-known "ellen allien manner" - direct and without compromises. the a-side is developing slowly from the beginning, being supported and borne by ellen´s vocals.
the track speeds up until, after the break and its smooth elements, you ask yourself inevitably: "out"? - and suddenly you cannot resist putting the needle back to the beginning after hearing this track for the first time.

the french answer. thomas muller shows once again what he stands for. the basslines are dusky and very direct. the track goes straight forward with a lot of pressure and
is being underlined by spooky synth-effects in every spectra imaginable. the dancer´s mind is completely being taken away, you´re almost being hypnotized. fortunately, thomas is leading you unerringly to where he wants to have you - driving you mad.
b: out (audion´s out for infants mix)
audion´s cozy groove on this remix is immediately going straight down into your dancing shoes - until this typical audion break, putting all eggs into one basket. extremely propulsive is he carrying away everything and everybody that is not taking
over in time. this monster ends up in a climax that is leaving behind the dancer simply thunderstrucked - out of breath and powerless.

nach “sprung/its” (bpc176) folgt nun ohne weitere verzögerungen die zweite singleauskopplung aus ellen allien’s erfolgreichem “sool” album (bpc175). mit der katalognummer 178 - “out” gibt es nun den extra langen vinyl-edit und die
lang erwarteten remixe.
für diese aufgabe haben niemand geringeres als bpitch artist
thomas muller und der gebürtige texaner matthew dear aka audion ihre speziellen remixversionen beigesteuert.
a1: out
in gewohnter “allien manier” minimal, hart und direkt. die a-seite baut sich von beginn an langsam auf und wird von ellen’s mysteriösen vocal’s unterstützt und nach vorne getragen. der titel nimmt fahrt auf und nach dem break mit seinen schwebenden - beinahe sanften elementen fragt man sich unweigerlich “out”? und kommt nicht drumherum die nadel des plattenspielers wieder an den anfang zu setzen.

die französische antwort. thomas muller zeigt einmal mehr wo der hammer hängt. die basslines sind gewohnt düster und sehr direkt. der track geht mit viel druck nach vorn und wird von verspulten synthie effekten in ihrer ganzen bandbreite untermalt. der zuhörer wird um jeglichen verstand gebracht, beinahe schon hypnotisiert. doch zum glück geleitet thomas sie zielsicher wieder dorthin wo er sie alle haben will - in den wahnsinn.
b: out (audion’s out for infants mix)
der angenehme groove von audion geht sofort ins blut und marschiert straight vorwärts - bis zu diesem so audion-typischen, alles auf eine karte setzenden, break. extrem treibend reißt audion dann einfach alles und jeden mit, der nicht rechtzeitig in deckung gegangen ist. der mix endet in einem “mega climax” der den zuhörer einfach nur perplex auf der tanzfläche zurücklässt - ausgepowered und nach atem ringend.
